Predictably enough, she justified her argument that women needed to be stronger and 'more independent' with reference to her father, whose encouragement of her meant that 'if my life was a film, then my father would be my ultimate hero'. Er, no. That would be you.

I'm making little pleased but staunchly realistic sputtering noises -- looking forward to reading your lj, any feelings of awe will quickly subside in reading mine -- it's pretty mundane in there -- and still getting that, oh my gosh, it's finally happened feeling of pleasure that you mentioned the books -- especially the very brand new one.

And yeah, I've finished them in the past, will it ever happen again?
